Volunteer Onboarding

No two days - or volunteers - are ever the same. With a vibrant team of over 250 volunteers and 280 staff, our volunteers bring energy, heart, and talent to every corner of the Trust, supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism. Every volunteer is matched to roles that reflect their strengths and aspirations.

From humble beginnings with a caravan, two staff, and six volunteers, the Trust has grown to support over 1,800 people, operating social enterprises alongside supported living and outreach services. Our state-of-the-art café and conference centre, set in 23 acres of the South Downs, welcomes over 80,000 visitors annually.

Through my work, I have helped grow and strengthen our volunteer community. I ensure that all our volunteers feel valued and empowered in their roles.'
