A note from Sue

We would like to wish you a Happy New Year and thank everyone who worked over Christmas and the New Year. ACC was open for most of December and we were pleased to see so many people enjoy the site, workshops and children’s activities. 

The MAKE refit is almost complete – a real transformation which will improve space and flow – a big shout out to the MAKE, John Pounds & ACC maintenance teams. 

Welcome to our new colleagues, who will play a big part in building on our success into 2026. Applicants for my role have been shortlisted, with interviews being held throughout January – we will keep you updated. 

Thank you to our Connects Team for setting up the ‘Lets Celebrate Success’ channel in Teams, which is a powerful reminder of all those things we do to make a difference – there are some very strong messages of hope, support and appreciation in here. 

You may have seen the news that Gemma Baldwin, Head of People and Development, will be moving on. This is a fantastic professional opportunity for Gemma, and while she will be greatly missed, we are excited to see her take this next step. Recruitment for her role will be treated as a priority.
